Spare the rod and spoil the child vesus Tough Love
when dealing with addicts parents and family members ,used tough love, this the best and suitetable for people in actove adiction , I dont jave scientic or emperical evindance that prove (astudy) this method works wanders, However I know many addicts that were under the guadiance of parents , who were subjected to tough love, that they were chase away from their homes and live on the streets, they live there as hobos, Omalalapipe, Omanqwayipile. They learn the hard way because its hard on the street, because there no parents and syblings that takes care of them,l or look after them, its survival of the fitest. in a nut shell life on the street its vey difficult, dog eat dog. Parents who effect or apply tough love for their loves who are in active addiction , sick from a dease of addiction, is the best thing to do, they are doing out of love for them, they they too the decision to chase them out of their homes, its simple because they realised thatvis the best decision for the interest of the family and the addict, they are in touch with the painful reality in front of them.
The addicts in active addiction is given a tough choice to come to his senses ,to wake up and revup his/her mind, and make a decision whether to continue meesing up and F...... his/her life, Or sopt doing drugs and alcohol abuse.
I guess desperste action for desperate meassures.
Yes there are those unfortunate ones,who miss the opportunity to change their lives around and end up in cemetries /grave yards.
There is hope,help out there, we do recover from the grip of drugs and alcohol.
May God guode and protect addicts who are still suffering in active addictiin and help them quite this defect , disease of drugs, alcohol.
Rember to put spiritual principles before personality. At all times we must remain teachable.
