A blessed Easter Sunday to all. We started our morning at the New Apostolic church, by invitation of Gina Claasens. Thank you to the Pastor and community for your warm welcome 💛 Several hot cross buns sustained us as we walked the land this evening. We will close our pilgrimage where we started, at the Black Madonna tomorrow morning 🖤

5 – The Hall – Accommodates activity based classes for up to 30 or events for up to 60 people seated.

6 – Classroom 1 – Smaller meetings and activity based classes for up to 8 people.

7 – Classroom 2 – Meetings with tables and chairs for up to 12 people.

8 – The Common Room – Meetings and consultations for up to 6 people seated.

9 – Reception Areas – Artists in residence or exhibitions.

We offer our own wisdom curriculum in the form of retreats, podcasts, and writings with a lens framed by African wisdom and aimed at communities of healers, educators and visionaries.

We support NGO initiatives, healing initiatives, transformative programs and creative collaborations for upliftment. We are passionate about programs that focus on Positive Alternative Cultures (PACs give vulnerable youth an attractive alternative to Drug Culture) and youth development.

We provide space for ritual, sacred processes, arts festivals and spiritual retreats. We also facilitate retreats that support, heal and grow facilitators and guides so that they can continue to uplift, heal and inspire change in others. Our spaces include a hall, classrooms, consultation areas and meditation rooms.

Meet Michael O' Brien and Vivien Claire, the custodians and dreamweaver of the Wisdom School in McGregor. Affectionately known as Mike and Viv, or Uncle Mike and Tannie Viv, a dynamic duo who are deeply committed to communal wisdom and soul work. Drawing on the abundance available in one another, in the neighbouring communities, in Africa and in the world they interpret wisdom through a communal lens. Both have personally and in union walked the conventional route and transmuted to practical wisdom drawing on a lifetime of corporate, organisational and individual experience. At the McGregor Wisdom School we use our heritage property as a focus for conferencing, conversations and community collaborations that support healing and growth. We offer a range of beautiful spaces for intentional events, regular classes that align with our values, and community meetings.
