ResQ One Operational Summary | 26β31 August 2026
Over the past week, ResQ One members responded to multiple incidents across the region, assisting with motor vehicle accidents, fire suppression, scene safety, and supporting other emergency services.

ResQ One responded to reports of a collision involving a light motor vehicle and a truck. Upon locating the incident, members found it to be a single-vehicle accident. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported.

π R40 β Between Mbombela and Barberton
ResQ One attended a serious motor vehicle collision involving a light motor vehicle and a truck. Tragically, the driver of the light motor vehicle lost their life.
Our deepest condolences go out to the family, friends, and loved ones affected by this tragic incident.

ResQ One attended a two-vehicle collision. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

π Kaapsehoop Road
Members attended a heavy motor vehicle accident involving a truck that had overturned and come to rest on its side, resulting in the load being spilled. Fortunately, no major injuries were reported.

π N4 β Between Kaapsehoop Turn-off and Elandshoek
While ResQ One members were attending to truck accident in the area, reports of a truck fire was received nearby. Members immediately responded and successfully extinguished the fire, preventing further damage and saving the trailer and its load.

π R40 β University of Mpumalanga Turn-off
Members attended a collision involving two vehicles and multiple patients. ResQ One established and maintained scene safety while assisting the emergency services already on scene and remained until the incident was finalised by SAPS.
