We’re so proud to share the incredible work of our designers at the Honey and Mead Festival, Bardolino Artists Retreat on 1 August. Every creation celebrated texture, light, and the golden spirit of honey.
The judges were looking for imaginative and original interpretations of the two classes:
'Sticky Situation', with its emphasis on line, texture and colour evoking honey;
and 'Honeyed Woodland', calling for a natural, rustic interpretation inspired by woodland materials and warm honey tones.
Entries were judged on interpretation, originality, design principles, creativity, technical ex*****on and overall impact.
The variety of ideas, thoughtful use of plant material and willingness to explore the themes were utterly delightful, don't you agree?
Congratulations to every member who entered and HUGE congratulations to our winners!

Lastly, a massive shoutout to our member and photographer, Belinda, her son Nico and his lovely friend, Megan, for the hours of work capturing the event and designs so beautifully!
