Important Notice: Entry for tomorrow’s event is now free.
Following engagement with the Matatiele Local Municipality and in response to the level of public interest, we have been requested to remove the entry fee for the Straight Outta Matat Hip Hop Show.
As organisers, we have always delivered our work in service of the community, often without charge, with the intention of creating opportunities for local artists and audiences. The event structure included a modest ticket fee to assist in covering operational costs and sustaining the platform. However, in the interest of cooperation and ensuring that the event proceeds smoothly, we have agreed to this request.
Entry is therefore free for all attendees.
We remain committed to delivering a well-organised, high-quality event that reflects the talent and energy of Matatiele.
At the same time, we invite those who are in a position to support the initiative to consider making in-kind contributions. These may include monetary support, stationery, school uniforms, or items such as high heels for our model showcase. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us continue building this platform for the community.
