IS MALETSWAI STILL OUR HOME? 🏠💔

​We see it every day. Abandoned buildings turned into drug dens. Vandalized sports facilities. Another housebreaking. Another gate stolen.
​But here is the hard truth we aren't talking about: Addiction doesn’t care about your background. It is stealing children from well-organized, loving homes just as fast as it’s taking those on the street. It’s not "their" kids anymore - it’s our kids.

When we let our facilities rot and our streets go quiet, we are sending a message to our youth: "No one cares."
Charity begins at home.

Restoration starts at our own front doors. If the authorities aren’t coming to save us, what are WE doing to reclaim the dignity of our town?
We are tired of the blame game. We want to talk about ACTION.

🎭✨ LAUNCH OF THE ANNUAL MALETSWAI CHILDREN’S THEATRE FESTIVAL 2026 ✨🎶

Join us as we officially launch the Annual Maletswai Children’s Theatre Festival! 🌟 This exciting event celebrates the creativity, talent, and voices of our children through the arts.

All local schools are invited to participate, and parents, guardians, and the entire community are warmly encouraged to attend and show their support.

📅 Date: 06 March 2026
⏰ Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
📍 Venue: Joe Slovo Hall, Maletswai, Eastern Cape

👧🏽🧒🏽 Who Can Participate?
Learners from Grade 1 – Grade 9

🎨🎤💃🎭 Artforms Included:
• Dance
• Drama
• Music
• Visual Arts
• Craft
• Poetry
• Storytelling

⏱ Performance Duration:
Each group/school will present a 10–30 minute show.

🎯 Festival Theme:
Addressing Gender-Based Violence (GBV), Crime Prevention, and other Social Issues Affecting Our Community.

Through artistic expression, our children will raise awareness, promote healing, and encourage positive change within our community. The arts provide a powerful platform for young voices to speak out and stand up against social challenges.

Free Computer Classes for Grade 11 (All High Schools)
Free Visual Arts Classes (drawing and painting) for Grade 5 and above.

Garden Design & Maintenance including Landscaping Training.

Our office is fully operational. We are currently looking for volunteers to assist with running the office as we have many projects in the pipeline, that includes skilled people to assist with facilitation for our training in the following fields:
1.Creative Arts (Music, Dance, Drama, Visual Art & Craft, Graphic Design, Fashion, Film etc.).
2. Construction (Bricklaying, Carpentry, Welding and more)
3. Finance (Bookkeeping)
4. Farming & Animal production.
