Dear TIRA-SA Community

The TIRA-SA Board is pleased to announce our next exciting opportunity for our members to participate in a three-day Traumatic Incident Reduction for Children (TIRC) workshop, led by Petri Coetzee.

This is normally a two day Workshop, however Petri extends it by a third day to cover attachment theory amongst other important aspects involved in working with children.

Petri brings extensive experience in working with children and has enhanced the original AMI program by adding a third day filled with his insights. With a theological degree, he employs TIR techniques alongside his qualifications as a trainer to support individuals within his church and the wider community. His work closely involves families and children, integrating TIR with various play therapy techniques. This workshop promises to be an enriching experience.

The details are as follows:
- Venue: NG Elarduspark, Frelonstraat, Elarduspark, Pretoria, Gauteng (
- Date: 20 April – 22 April 2026
- Member Fee: R 4,100 per person
- Member Deposit: R 1,750 (This secures your registration)

(CPD points pending)

- (R5000 per person for Non-Members)
- NB!! Member Registration Deadline: March 30th, 2026
- Initial registration is exclusive to TIRA-SA members, with a closing date
of March 30th, 2026.- A waiting list for non-members will be established,
allowing them to register if openings arise after the registration deadline.
- Manuals will be included.- Tea, coffee, and snacks will be provided; please
arrange your own midday meal.
- This event will be held in person, and numbers are limited to ensure that
all attendees receive the attention and experience necessary for
full engagement.
