A Day for Introspection and Action: Reconciliation Day 🕊️
December 16th holds a deep and complex history in South Africa. It has transformed into a national day dedicated to promoting reconciliation and national unity.
At Coming Home Organization, we believe reconciliation is an active, ongoing process rooted in our communities. It means confronting difficult truths, listening to diverse perspectives, and working together to dismantle the systemic barriers that still divide us.
What does reconciliation mean to you?
We challenge you to take a moment today to reflect on a small action you can take in your own life to bridge a gap, offer understanding, or promote inclusivity.
• Start a conversation with someone who holds a different view.
• Volunteer for a cause that unites people across different backgrounds.
• Educate yourself on a part of South African history you don't fully know.
Let's continue to build a country where everyone truly feels "Coming Home."

365 days a year, we fight for safety. But for the next 16 days, we scream for justice.
🧡Violence against women and children is a pandemic we can cure with education, support, and zero tolerance.

The Coming Home Organisation stands with survivors today and every day. Let’s make the world safe for our mothers, sisters, and children.

Community shines bright! 💛✨

We are wrapping up the 4th Quarter with full hearts. Our World Stroke Day event was a beautiful intersection of Diwali celebrations and stroke awareness.
From powerful stories by survivor Yusuf Kadwa to practical health tips from Dr. Naidoo and Dr. Johns, we explored what it really means to "Find You After Stroke."

We are committed to restoring dignity and hope, but we can’t do it without you.
If you’d like to support our work, donation details are on the last slide. 🏦💙

*🌍❤ World AIDS Day: Coming Home Organization Stands Together! ❤🌍*

Today, we unite as a global community to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS, honor those we’ve lost, and support those who live with this disease. Let's break the stigma and promote understanding, compassion, and support for everyone affected by HIV/AIDS.

- Get tested & know your status.
- Educate yourself and others.
- Support local initiatives and charities.

🤝 Together, we can foster a world where everyone affected by HIV/AIDS feels loved, supported, and empowered.

📢 *Share your stories, show your support, and let’s continue to fight the stigma!*
