ASBESTOS INTEREST GROUP

ASBESTOS INTEREST GROUP Asbestos Interest Group is a nonprofit organization that is responsible for making awareness about asbestos and identifying asbestos.

The organization was founded in 2001 by the late Stephen Kotoloane. He learnt about asbestos from a researcher from United states, Nancy Jacobs.

In a special way, we like to honour him for all the great work he did for the communities of Kuruman that are affected by asbestos pollution.
Mr. S. M. Kotoloane worked tirelessly to ensure advocacy for the secondary pollution.

Letlhogonolo Perseverance Mogatle
A.I.G thank Asbestos Relief Trust and Kgalagadi Relief Trust for their support.
We also give special thanks to Cancer Charity Workers, Kuruman Oncology unit, One Stop Center for their constant support.
We thank Mogatle's family for giving us the opportunity to celebrate the life of Percy.
We pray that God may heal all the broken hearts, and give comfort.

The area is currently a resident of a family of 6 people with 2 children under 2 years.
The yard is polluted with very fine asbestos fibres.
The compound is within the community.
