Pure of Heart NPC - Klerksdorp Tehuis vir Bejaardes - 24 December 2024

Established in 2024, Pure of Heart NPC's mission is to provide assistance in the KOSH area.

Our first outreach was to Klerksdorp Tehuis vir Bejaardes (Klerksdorp old age home) to spread some joy and festive cheer to the retired seniors by providing each of them with some sweet treats.

Our second hand charity shop will open in January 2025.
Please feel free to donate any and all items you no longer have a use for; clothes, shoes, blankets, towels, furniture, even if you think no one will be able to use it, Pure of Heart will put it to good use.
We will distribute what we can to those in need and the rest will be allocated to our charity shop as these funds are used to provide emergency relief in the KOSH area.

Due to your donations it will be possible to do more outreaches in 2025.

From 13 January 2025 donations may be dropped at the Repcom premises 19 Knowles street, Wilkoppies, Klerksdorp.

LeRoy and his family got a new place to stay after their flat with everything was burned to ashes.
Pure of Heart contacted them and due to donations received from the public, Pure of Heart was able to assist with a two seater couch, curtains, a single bed mattres and single bed bedding.

PURE OF HEART MISSION STATEMENT:

Out of the ashes of disaster the Pure of Heart organization was born. Based in Klerksdorp in the North West province of South Africa, Pure of Heart is a Nonprofit Company (NPC) established in 2024 with the vision of assisting the community of the Klerksdorp, Orkney, Stilfontein and Hartbeesfontein (KOSH) region.

The organization aims to work closely with Emergency Services and their communities to provide basic essential necessities to victims who may have lost everything in house fires and other catastrophic events.

We rely on the Public in supporting us with cash donations and/or second-hand goods, some of which are then sold at affordable prices in our store. The proceeds from this go towards funding the initiative as well as assisting families in rebuilding some of the basic possessions they have lost. These funds are also used to put together an "emergency pack" consisting of:

• A basic toiletry bag

• Blankets

• A change of clothes

• Other essential necessities

As these traumatic events usually occur at night leaving the family with nothing more than the pyjamas they are wearing, Pure of Heart aims to cushion the devastating blow that the family suffers by providing much-needed assistance at the earliest possible point in time.
