OFFICIAL NOTICE: POSTPONEMENT OF THE QONCE CLEAN-UP CAMPAIGN

Dear Residents, Volunteers, Community Stakeholders, Sponsors, and Partners,

It is with careful consideration and a sense of responsibility that we announce the postponement of the Qonce Clean-Up Campaign, which was scheduled to take place tomorrow.

This decision was not taken lightly. Following consultations with volunteers, community partners, and supporting stakeholders, it became clear that additional time is required to ensure the campaign is conducted safely, effectively, and with the level of coordination necessary to achieve its intended impact.

Among the factors considered were:

- The need for improved logistical coordination and resource readiness.
- Ensuring adequate participation from key stakeholders and volunteers.
- Finalizing operational arrangements to maximize safety and effectiveness.
- Creating the best possible conditions for a successful and sustainable community clean-up initiative.

We recognize that many individuals and organizations had already committed their time, resources, and energy toward this important cause. Your willingness to serve the community reflects the very spirit of active citizenship and collective responsibility that the campaign seeks to promote.

We extend our sincere appreciation to:

- Community volunteers who registered to participate.
- Local businesses and sponsors who pledged support.
- Civic organizations, faith-based groups, and community leaders who mobilized residents.
- Every resident who showed interest in contributing to a cleaner and healthier Qonce.

Your support has not gone unnoticed, and this postponement should not be viewed as a cancellation of the initiative, but rather as a strategic step toward ensuring a more impactful and well-coordinated campaign.

A new date will be communicated as soon as all preparations have been finalized. We encourage all supporters to remain engaged and committed as we continue working together toward a cleaner, safer, and more environmentally responsible community.

Thank you for your understanding, patience, and continued support.

Together, we can build the Qonce we all deserve.

Issued on behalf of the Qonce Clean-Up Campaign Organising Team.

Postponed, not cancelled — our commitment to a cleaner Qonce remains stronger than ever.
