If you're a homeowner 🏡 or anyone 🏗 who may be in need of services offered by artisans but find it hard to locate them, find trust worthy ones or highly skilled artisans, just take a breathe because we will soon be creating a hybrid app that will be convenient for you wherever you are to find easy artisan help😀.

An unexpected pipe burst won't be that much a stress as you can just search your area and plumbers to filter all Atrisans out then find the ones nearest to you, choose according to whatever criteria you like and contact them however you want, through text, a call or an sms and they'll respond to confirm they can do the job immediately⏰️✔️. Payments will be seamless and ensured to be safe in terms of dishonored work or payment from the clients side.

🌍 Introducing Artisan Arc: Building a Bridge for South Africa’s Skilled Hands 🛠️

Today was not just another day — it was a wake-up call.
I spent my afternoon in King William’s Town, speaking to incredible artisans at the Stone Towers Mall, near Estron Garage — real people with real skills and unbelievable experience.

Some of them have been electricians, plumbers, builders, and mechanics for over 15 years, yet they still stand at the same spot every morning, waiting and hoping someone will stop and offer them work. Many don’t even own smartphones. Some do, but with no access to digital opportunities. And yet, every one of them carries unmatched talent, dedication, and pride in their craft.

That’s why we’re building Artisan Arc — a platform that will connect artisans directly to clients, restore trust, and create consistency in their livelihoods.

🔧 What we plan to do:

Build a system (starting with an app & SMS platform) that connects artisans with clients nearby.

Allow clients to see verified profiles, past work, and ratings.

Send artisans SMS job notifications — for those without smartphones.

Partner with SETAs to help unskilled artisans get training, trade tests, and certification.

Build a network that values the hands that build our homes, fix our lights, and keep our communities moving.

These artisans deserve more than one-day jobs and empty promises. They deserve dignity, stability, and visibility.

I would love to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to Ngwekazi Student Entrepreneurship Programme (NgwekaziSEP) and Nedbank for creating such an impactful and transformative platform for young entrepreneurs across South Africa.

This programme is not just about business — it’s about growth, connection, and empowerment. It brings together entrepreneurs from all walks of life, giving us the tools, mentorship, and confidence to turn our ideas into sustainable ventures that truly make a difference in our communities.

Today, I had the incredible honour of serving as a Co-Host for the session on “Statutory Compliance Obligations That Assist with Access to Markets.” It was a privilege to stand alongside fellow innovators, to learn, to lead, and to contribute to a conversation that empowers small business owners to understand that compliance isn’t a barrier — it’s a bridge to bigger opportunities.

Thank you to the NgwekaziSEP and Nedbank teams for believing in us, investing in us, and for reminding us that South African entrepreneurship is alive, creative, and unstoppable.
