As more events adopt the Northern Cape Pride identity, we remind organizers to honor our trademark with care: use only approved branding, share inclusive messaging, and credit the collective.

Together, we rise, we belong, we are NCQC.

🌈 June is Pride Month — a time to celebrate diversity, love, and acceptance. But it’s also a time to acknowledge the challenges faced by our LGBTIQ+ community, especially here in the Northern Cape.

18 days in the Month, While many around the world are speaking out and taking action, our community still faces issues like discrimination, violence, and lack of access to support and resources. It’s time for our local government to stand up and be a voice for all citizens, regardless of their gender identity or sexual orientation.

We call on our Provincial, local leaders to:

✨ Recognize and address the unique challenges faced by the LGBTIQ+ community
✨ Implement policies that promote equality, safety, and inclusion
✨ Support education and awareness campaigns to foster understanding and acceptance
✨ Create safe spaces where everyone can be their true selves without fear

Let’s use this Pride Month as a reminder that everyone deserves respect, dignity, and equal rights. We urge our local authorities to lead with compassion and take meaningful steps toward a more inclusive Northern Cape.

Together, we can build a province where love is celebrated and everyone is valued.
