Building New Partnerships That Strengthen Our Community. Last month marked the beginning of an exciting new partnership with the Arwyp Medical Centre Training Institution. Pastor Andre had the honour of being invited as the guest speaker at the graduation ceremony, where more than 60 newly qualified nurses celebrated the successful completion of their training. The event became much more than a graduation celebration. Through this new relationship, Arwyp has generously committed to providing free Level 1 First Aid training for all of our LLCP Life Coaches. This incredible opportunity is a direct answer to prayer and will equip our team with valuable skills as they continue serving children, families, and the wider community. We believe this partnership is only the beginning. It opens the door for ongoing collaboration between LLCP and the dedicated staff of Arwyp Medical Centre, allowing us to work together in bringing hope, care, and practical support to the people of Kempton Park. We are deeply grateful for this opportunity and look forward to seeing the lasting impact that this relationship will have on our community for years to come

Youth Month provided a wonderful opportunity to welcome 30 new members of the Kempton Park SAPS family. At the request of Colonel Lesomo, our pastors had the privilege of leading the new officers on a prayer walk through the Kempton Park inner city.
Together, we visited key hotspot areas, praying for God's protection, wisdom, and peace over the officers, the community, and the work that lies ahead. The prayer march also served as an introduction to the unique way in which the Kempton Park Police Station partners with churches, community organisations, and local leaders to bring hope and positive change to our city. It was an inspiring morning of unity and purpose. We believe that when law enforcement and the community stand together in faith, we build stronger relationships, safer neighbourhoods, and a brighter future for everyone. We wish each of these new officers God's richest blessing as they begin their journey of serving and protecting our community.

One of the greatest highlights of the month was seeing our vision come to life as the local school and church united to serve the community together. Learners and families fromKempton Park Laerskool collected groceries, which were generously donated to the Assemblies of God Church. The donation was formally handed over by the prefect of Kempton Park Laerskool, marking a meaningful moment of student leadership and community involvement. This partnership is especially significant as Lonwabo, who is not only the youth pastor at the Assemblies of God Church but also serves as an LLCP Life Coach at Kempton Park Laerskool, helps build a strong bridge between the school and the church. His dual role continues to strengthen collaboration and shared impact between both spaces. In addition to the groceries, a generous donation of clothing was received and distributed during a special Sunday outreach service. Together, the school and church demonstrated the power of unity by using practical acts of kindness to open doors for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Families were not only supported with essential items but were also warmly welcomed into the life of the local church, creating opportunities for ongoing connection, care, and discipleship. This is the heart of LLCP-to see schools, churches, and communities working together to bring hope, meet practical needs, and point people to Jesus Christ. We are encouraged to see these partnerships growing and making a real difference in Kempton Park.

LLCP recently had the privilege of hosting the “Walking in Victory” Camp for Grade 8 learners from Norkem Park High School. The camp was designed to help learners transition confidently into high school life by focusing on identity, self-discipline, resilience, and making positive choices in a new and sometimes challenging environment. Throughout the programme, learners engaged in interactive sessions, team-building activities, and guided reflections that encouraged them to see themselves as capable of overcoming obstacles and building a successful future. The experience created space for encouragement, personal growth, and the development of stronger peer relationships. We are grateful for the opportunity to invest in these young learners and to support them at such an important stage of their schooling journey. The energy, openness, and participation from the Grade 8 group made the camp a meaningful and impactful
experience for all involved.

LLCP’s partnership with both the South African Police Service and the education department has taken our work to new levels, allowing us to become increasingly effective within primary schools. Our second Disciplinary Camp has shown significant impact, with a 90% success response following up from the strong outcomes of our first camp. This growth reflects the consistency and effectiveness of the programmes being implemented. Principal Alwyn Snyman of Laerskool Kreft Primary has been actively involved, including personally fetching learners from the campsite, demonstrating exceptional commitment and leadership. In addition, two follow-up programmes with our life coaches have already taken place since the camp, ensuring that the work continues beyond the camp environment. We are also encouraged by the growing interest from other schools, with Birch Acres Primary School reaching out to request a similar programme, and Aston Manor Primary School planning to send all their prefects next month for a dedicated leadership follow-up camp. We are excited to see new doors opening consistently and are grateful for the expanding opportunities to serve and impact more learners.

Team Building Event with SAPS Kempton Park. Last month, LLCP hosted a team-building event at our campsite with Colonel Lesomo and her team from Kempton Park Police Station. Christian facilitated a practical team challenge that encouraged teamwork and unity between participants.
The day included a braai, a time of encouragement from Scripture, and prayer together, with several pastors also joining the event. It was a meaningful time of connection, strengthening relationships between LLCP, SAPS, and community leaders.

Valdi shared a powerful reflection question: “What are the things holding you
back?” highlighting how personal burdens can affect focus, behaviour, and often
lead to frustration toward others. Learners also enjoyed a marshmallow braai
activity, creating moments of connection and bonding alongside the South African
Police Service Youth Desk.
On Sunday after the camp, a follow-up meeting was held with parents at the school
to encourage and challenge them to take up their role in discipline and consistency
at home, helping to support teachers so they can focus on teaching and classroom development

What an unforgettable night of worship, unity, and celebration! 🙌
Our Rooftop Worship Celebration at the Kempton Park Police Station was a powerful testimony of what happens when the community, and law enforcement come together under one Name — Jesus Christ. 🙏❤️

We celebrated the Lighthouse Status Award presented to the station — a remarkable recognition for their dedication in reducing crime and bringing light, hope, and safety to our city. 💡🚓

As worship rose from the rooftop, so did our faith and gratitude for what God is doing in Kempton Park.
Together, we declared that Jesus is the Light shining over our community, transforming hearts and changing atmospheres. 🌍✨

A heartfelt thank you to every pastor, worship team, volunteer, and community member who made this moment possible. 💛
