We are joining the New Africa Fund Challenge — and 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿-𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘃𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 (GBV).
Our goal: R80 000+ (USD 5,000+) to strengthen the Faith Leaders Gender Transformation Programme (FLGTP).
Why it matters: GBV has been declared a National Disaster in South Africa. As 85% of South Africa’s population identifies as religious, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗵𝘂𝗴𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆. Preventing GBV and building harmony begins with equipped faith leadership. Through the FLGTP, we equip faith leaders to challenge harmful norms, model equitable leadership, and actively prevent GBV in their communities.

"What an honour to form part of the about gender-based violence tomorrow.

As a creative entrepreneur and Activist I believe that its important for organizations to aid and support existing efforts in the fight to end gender-based violence particularly adapting them into their sustainability drives.

For a movement such as ourselves & Creative Communications Agency we choose to use our platforms and influence to advocate and actively participate in campaigns that are socially impactful, promote women empowerment, are inclusive and aid to end gender-based violence.
