🍞 20 FOOD HAMPERS OUT TODAY – BUT WE NEED YOU TO DO MORE 🍞
Today our outreach team hit the streets with 20 food hampers for those sleeping rough. A meal is a start, but it's not the finish line.
🔄 Our Street-to-Reintegration Program covers the full journey:

🏠 HOUSING – Emergency shelter placement and transitional accommodation 👕 CLOTHING – Clean, weather-appropriate gear to restore dignity

🍲 FEEDING – Regular meal support and nutrition guidance 💼 JOB PLACEMENT – Skills training, CV support, and employer connections 🤝

GUIDANCE – Mentorship and case management even after reintegration
We don't just hand out food and disappear. We walk with people—from the sidewalk to stability, and stay connected after they move forward.

⚠️ THE REALITY: 20 hampers isn't enough. There are hundreds more on our streets tonight.

SA Poverty Combat Organisation (SAPCO) proposed an Integrated Street-to-Sustainability Poverty Alleviation Programme, designed to remove vulnerable individuals from the streets and provide them with rehabilitation, skills training, employment placement, and transitional accommodation until they are fully reintegrated into society.
The project will actively identify homeless individuals, substance users, unemployed adults, and vulnerable mothers with children, offering them structured pathways toward independence. Through partnerships with rehabilitation centres, training providers, and employers, SAPCO will ensure cost-effective, sustainable outcomes with measurable social impact.
