Join us on Friday, 8 May 2026 at Killarney Country Club for a special Golf Day in support of Touching Dreams, our registered NPO dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and communities.
This year, we are raising funds for the Langkloof Orphan’s Fund and Guild Cottage Treatment Centre for Children, turning every swing into an opportunity to give back. 💛

• R10,000 per 4-ball (includes golf cart, green fees, golf shirt, halfway meal, a drink and evening prize giving dinner)

Langkloof Donation Day – 9 April 2026 💙

One of our valued guests at Little Switzerland Resort has once again touched hearts in the most beautiful way.
As the winter chill approaches, Tanya Burden took it upon herself to knit warm tracksuits for every child at Langkloof School. Alongside her wonderful team, she poured time, care, and love into creating something far more than clothing—she created warmth, comfort, and lasting joy for each child.

This special initiative is a powerful reminder of what compassion looks like in action. It shows how one act of kindness can ripple out and truly change lives.

Tanya and her team are nothing short of extraordinary—quietly and consistently showing up where there is need, bringing hope, dignity, and happiness wherever they go. Her generosity and empathy leave an impact that words can barely capture.

We would love to celebrate and recognise her for the difference she continues to make.

When a dream becomes a memory, it lives on forever.

This past weekend gave us one of those powerful reminders of why Touching Dreams exists.

Reuben, a brave young boy who has been fighting leukemia since he was 12, spent a special weekend at Finfoot Lake Reserve with his family — made possible through a beautiful partnership with the The Reach For A Dream Foundation. For a moment in time, life shifted away from hospital rooms and treatments, and opened up to something far more meaningful.

The weekend wasn’t about anything extravagant — it was about the simple, beautiful things:
time together, shared laughter, and moments that felt normal again.

There were game drives filled with wonder, evenings of music and drumming beneath the stars, and the kind of quiet, uninterrupted family time that means everything. Most of all, it gave Reuben the space to just be himself — a teenager enjoying life, free from the weight of his journey.

What truly brought this experience to life was the people. Every member of the Finfoot team played a part — with kindness, care, and genuine compassion felt in every detail, from arrival to farewell.

This is what Touching Dreams stands for:
Making space for joy in the middle of hardship.
Creating moments that stay long after they’ve passed.
And showing how powerful simple human connection can be.

A heartfelt thank you to Melani Van Der Westhuizen , Sarel van der Westhuizen, and the entire Finfoot team for the role you played in making this weekend so meaningful.

And Reuben — your courage is extraordinary. Your dream of becoming a ranger feels closer than ever, and we’re all behind you.

South Africa has always been a land of resilience.
But right now, many of our communities are hurting.

Days of relentless rain have caused severe flooding in Limpopo and Mpumalanga, washing away homes, livelihoods, and the sense of safety so many families rely on. At the same time, devastating wildfires in parts of the Western Cape have scarred landscapes, threatened wildlife, and damaged vital tourism infrastructure that so many depend on to survive.

Behind every headline is a story.
A mother wondering how she’ll rebuild.
A child standing ankle-deep in floodwater, holding onto hope.
Firefighters battling flames through the night to protect what remains.

At Touching Dreams, we believe that when times are toughest, community matters most. Through our Disaster Relief Campaign, we are raising emergency funds to support trusted, on-the-ground partners who are delivering urgent relief now — and helping communities recover for the long road ahead.

Dreams is proud to welcome 19 incredible young talents who officially joined the Dream Big Academy on 3 November!

These inspiring individuals have embarked on an exciting 12-month paid learnership, where they will gain hands-on skills, real workplace experience, and work toward completing a full NQF qualification that will open doors for their future in hospitality.

Our learners are placed across our Dream Hotels & Resorts properties in KwaZulu-Natal, Gauteng, and the Western Cape, where they’ll be learning, growing, contributing to our teams, and developing into the next generation of hospitality leaders.

At Touching Dreams, we believe that investing in youth is investing in the future of our industry. By empowering young people with skills, knowledge, and practical experience, we’re not only uplifting communities, we’re building a stronger, more capable, and more inclusive hospitality sector for South Africa.
