🔔If they cannot see your value, your effort, or your solution, then perhaps that is their limitation… and, to some extent, their loss.

🔑Something happened this week that added to my wisdom.🌐

🔑It seems the value of our business proposition wasn't recognised, even though we showed up fully and delivered our very best solution.

✅In a moment of frustration, I realised something important: people often see and value what they want to see and value.

✅We may never fully understand how others make their decisions. Sometimes, the best we can do is ask for feedback. And when even that doesn’t bring clarity, we can fall back on one thing—our effort.

✅We spend so much energy seeking approval, trying to grow our businesses and ourselves. But amid the chaos of trying, winning, failing, and improving, there’s a powerful truth: when you know you’ve done your best, you can choose peace.

✅The moment I embraced that thought and feeling, I felt really great.

🔑Perhaps this perspective can help us all protect our sanity while strengthening our emotional intelligence.

🧘🏾If you’ve given your best and your worth still isn’t recognised, be at peace. It may not feel easy in the moment, but with time—even hours or days—you begin to heal.

🤯This mindset builds resilience. It allows you to move forward, to try again without being weighed down.

🔔If they cannot see your value, your effort, or your solution—then perhaps that is their limitation… and, to some extent, their loss.

There is no need to carry the weight of it. Dust yourself off and keep moving forward.

🧍🏾‍♂️"An apple does not fall far from the tree"

🔔While this isn’t true in every case, your child’s behaviour can sometimes mirror or even intensify the patterns seen in you during your own childhood, teenage years, and youth.

✅This genetic inheritance means certain behaviours can be passed from parent to child. In many situations, grandparents make these remarks when a child closely mirrors your behaviour, almost as if it were a reflection of you.

🔔So, before you get frustrated with your child or teenager, consider that they may be a true extension of yourself.🔔

✅The question is, what can you do now? We don’t have the answer either, but as they grow, children also mirror what they see more than what they are told.

✅The habits, attitudes, and values you live out each day as you raise them quietly shape who they become. If children tend to reflect the behaviours and character of their parents, then the question is not only “Who is my child becoming?” but also “What am I showing them to become?” “What could truly be the extension of my childhood behaviour, and how do I help them?”

✅Take a moment to reflect on your own actions, responses, and choices because, in many ways, your life is the blueprint your child is learning from.
