Incredible words from Ann Harding Cheshire Home -
“Yesterday, our hearts were completely stolen by the incredible residents from San Salvador Community Hub, who came to visit us and treated us to a spectacular performance!
They blessed our home with so much singing, dancing, and vibrant energy. To say it was an incredible experience would be an understatement. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
Seeing the sheer dedication, hard work, and immense pride they put into every single moment of their performance was deeply moving. The beautiful connection and shared joy between their residents and ours reminded us all of the power of community, expression, and love.
Thank you so much, San Salvador Home, for coming through, sharing your light with us, and leaving us with memories we will cherish for a very long time. You truly blessed our home!

This is why we do what we do. We are grateful for the opportunity to be able to share our message of love, joy, kindness and hope!

Thank you Ann Harding Cheshire Home , we loved spending time with your residents!

Find your inner child again! 🎟️🎉

Loneliness is real, and sadly, quite common for people in residential homes and institutions. It starts off impacting mental health, but later it affects physical health as well.
Sometimes the solution can be a morning in the sun, a group of lively people and some entertaining games!

Intertainment (one of our micro-businesses) offers an opportunity to remember simpler times- to play, to laugh and to just have fun!
Interact with real people, in real time.
Remember the satisfaction of throwing the ball through the hole?!
The surprise of a spot prize?!
The joy of winning the game?!
Our team will remind you of that 😎

This week, our team had the opportunity to take Carnival Games to Tara Hospital. We had an hour of laughter and silliness, and a great time was had by all!

We have a selection of engaging games and activities.
You give us the space, and we will bring the joy!

We are SO much more than our disabilities!

This Saturday, our micro-businesses were on full display, and we got to show people just how capable we are.
We drew visitors, painted nails, did some back and shoulder massages, performed on stage and sold our handcrafted and thrifted items.

Thank you to City Renewal for including us at your market. Opportunities like this allow us to learn and grow, and to remind ourselves and others, just how much we can accomplish when we are given the space!

If you are looking for something extra special at your event, get in touch! We have so much to offer 😎

Meet the artist!
This is Sumar. In person, he comes across a little shy and reserved, but his art- the way in which he fully expresses himself- is bold and bright and colourful!
Together with Mabake, another one of our talented artists with disabilities, he will be displaying his art at the City Renewal Market!
Saturday 30 May 2026
9am - 3pm
18 Sunset Blvd, Pineslopes, Sandton

We hope to see you there!

LOOK at his joy!
Is this not the BEST thing you’ll see on social media today?! 😂❤️🎉

Today is Justyn’s birthday!
We had planned a cake and some singing (you know how much we love to party 😉), but what we HADN’T planned, was a visit from a friendly face…
Clumzie Eddie surprised us all and arrived to join in the celebrations! With gifts, balloons and all his usual, funny antics, he added that extra spark of joy!

How amazing to see our hub members being loved and celebrated ❤️
Moments like these are incredibly special, and we are always touched by the connections our members have built with visitors over the years.

Clumzie Eddie, THANK YOU for your kindness and your generosity, and for seeing our community for the gifts that they are!

We hope this video has brought you a little joy!
If it has, please send this to someone who you know will also love to see it!

We took a well-deserved break! 😂

After all the performances and hard work our Hub members have put in over the last two months, we thought it was time to let loose and do something different!
So yesterday we spent the day at the Monte Casino Bird Gardens 🦜🦢🦆🦚

We are grateful for opportunities like this - for many of our community it was a first time experience.
We learnt, we played and we had an amazing time together!

A big thank you to Monte Casino Bird Park for giving us (and all NPO’s) free entry - you made this day possible 💚

Join us for a beautiful day of shopping and empowerment!
Our micro-businesses have been given the opportunity to join the City Renewal Market this Sunday!

Pottery, hand-sewn items, massage, nails, and kids games will be on offer - and our choir will have the chance to spread their message of love and hope!

Members of the disabled community are often marginalized from the economy. Opportunities at markets like this, are a vital part of our vision to create sustainable sources of income, and are a part our poverty-prevention mission.
Every time we get the opportunity to sell, our community can hone their skills, improve their communication, build their confidence, and importantly, earn a small income.

We are grateful to Renew Church for the opportunity to be able to join in their market, thank you for including us!

It is going to be a great day, we hope you will be able to join us!

Naomi will be live on air this afternoon!
Tune in as she raises awareness, shares the successes of our micro businesses, discusses disability prevention and of course (as always), inspires hope for a more inclusive society!

We are proud of all that we do at the Community Hub and are grateful for the opportunity to share our message.

Thank you to the DJ Fistos and the Midday Cruise at for having us on the show later today! .1
