🎗️💛 HELP OUR LITTLE SUPERHERO BONTLE! 🦸‍♀️🧁

Little Bontle has already faced a battle no child should ever have to endure. 💔

At just ONE MONTH OLD, she was diagnosed with Retinoblastoma, a rare childhood eye cancer. After months of treatment and chemotherapy, doctors had to remove her eye to save her precious life.

Today, we are celebrating a beautiful victory! 🙏🏼✨ Bontle is now 19 months old and CANCER-FREE! 💛🎉

This brave little girl has shown incredible strength through every treatment, hospital visit and difficult day. To us, Bontle is a true SUPERHERO, and we want to help her take the next step in her journey. 🦸‍♀️🎗️

Her journey continues, and she now needs an artificial eye costing R34 500. Together, we can help make this possible and bring a little more confidence and comfort into her life. 💕

🧁 520 CUPCAKES. R11,200 RAISED. ONE INCREDIBLE CAUSE! 🧁

A huge thank you to Dr Jevani Govender, Specialist Paediatrician, and her husband for going above and beyond to support Cupcakes of Hope and children fighting cancer! 🎗️

Throughout September, Dr Govender and her husband hosted several mini cupcake sales at the hospitals where she works, including Netcare Alberlito and Netcare Umhlanga. With 50 cupcakes sold at each of these four mini fundraisers, they made a wonderful contribution towards our cause.

On Saturday, 26 September, they joined forces with friends who generously provided a venue and baked cupcakes for their National Cupcake Day fundraiser. Together, they sold an incredible 320 cupcakes!

For Dr Govender, this was more than just a fundraiser. As a specialist pediatrician and someone who has personally lost her mother to cancer, this was truly a labour of love.

💛 SOMETIMES, MIRACLES LOOK LIKE THIS… 🦸‍♂️✨

🎥 A SPECIAL THROWBACK! This video takes us back to Kegan’s 11th birthday, but our very first little warrior is all grown up now and turns 19 this year! 🥹💛

When Kegan was just 18 months old, he was diagnosed with a spinal tumour. Doctors told his family that he most likely wouldn’t make it to his second birthday. 💔

But God had a different plan. 🙏🏼✨

For his 11th birthday, we had the incredible privilege of spoiling our brave boy with a surprise trip to Durban, where he got to experience something truly magical… meeting a dolphin! 🐬💙

Looking back at these precious memories reminds us of something we should never forget:

MIRACLES KEEP HAPPENING. ✨

Kegan’s journey is a beautiful reminder that even when the odds seem impossible, hope should never be lost. 🙏🏼💛

This is why we celebrate our little superheroes.

It all started with Kegan, our very first little beneficiary.

Kegan was diagnosed with a spinal tumour at just 18 months old, and doctors told his family that he most likely wouldn’t make it to his second birthday. 💔

But Kegan showed us that miracles can happen, that hope should never be lost, and that our little warriors are capable of things we could never imagine. ✨💛

🧁 CALLING ALL CUPCAKE ANGELS! 🧁

We have received a special request from one of our hospitals, and we would love to see if our amazing Cupcake Angels can help make this wish come true.

One of our 16-year-old warriors is currently recovering in ICU and has one simple wish , to be able to play his PlayStation while he recovers. 🎮

We are looking for a TV/monitor that can be donated for him to use during his hospital stay.

If you have a TV/monitor you could donate, or if you would like to contribute towards making this wish possible, we would be incredibly grateful. Every little bit of help can bring some joy, distraction and normality to a warrior going through a difficult time.
