Little paws. Big personalities. Still no families. 💔🐾

We have a whole bunch of gorgeous medium-breed pups desperately needing homes. They should be learning where their bed is, who sneaks them treats, and which spot on the couch belongs to them.

To help these pups find their families, we’re offering a R1,000 adoption special for the medium-breed puppies featured here.

🏡 All our usual strict checks, screening and adoption requirements remain exactly the same. Every puppy needs a suitable, loving home and a lifelong commitment.

Please contact Place a Pup to enquire about one of these little faces.

If you can’t adopt, please share. Their future family might be on your friends list. ❤️

We are devastated. 💔

We’ve only managed to raise R2,000 of the R15,000 needed for these two boys’ surgery. We still need R13,000 to get them the help they deserve.

These elderly dachshunds have already been abandoned. We just want them to feel comfortable and safe—to have their painful mouths treated and finally settle into a life where they are loved.

It breaks our hearts that the money is still standing between them and the care they need.

To everyone who has donated, thank you. ❤️ Please, if you can spare R20, R50 or any amount, help us get these boys closer to surgery. If you can’t donate, sharing their appeal would mean so much.

The cutest Dorkies alive… and yes, they know it! 😂🐾

Tiny paws, cheeky faces and absolutely no intention of giving you any personal space. Going to the loo alone? Those days are over. 🤣

These little sweethearts are ready for homes of their own. All they’re missing is someone to cuddle up to and follow around the house. ❤️

Come meet them at Place a Pup—but don’t blame us if you fall in love!

Meet Seun 🤎

He arrived at Place a Pup so scared, alongside his mate and their nine puppies.

One by one, all nine puppies found homes. His mate found hers too. And Seun? He’s still waiting. 💔

We’re so happy for his family, but we would love to see him get his turn—a home of his own, a family to love him, and somewhere he finally belongs.

Could you be the person Seun is waiting for? Please come meet him, or share his post to help his family find him. 🐾

💔 Abandoned when they needed love the most.

These two little old dachshunds are now safe at Place a Pup, but they still have so much to get through. They need skin grafts and dental surgery.

We need to raise R15 000 to get them the help they desperately need. Please help us give these precious souls a chance to heal.

R20, R50, R100… every donation brings us closer. If you can’t donate, please share their story. ❤️

Where is ladies family!!!!

Meet Lady… and oh man, is she a lady! 🤍🐾

This sweet girl came to Place a Pup 480 days ago with her puppies. Her babies were snapped up so quickly, but their mommy is still waiting for someone to choose her.

480 days. That’s a very long time to wait for a family of your own. 💔

Lady is 3 years old and the sweetest soul. She’s done her job as a mommy. Now we’d love to see her go home and be someone’s baby.

Please come and meet our Lady. And if you can’t adopt, please share her post. Someone out there could be looking for exactly her. 🏡❤️

Heartbreaking start!

Her babies are ready for homes… and we’re hoping someone will choose Mommy too. ❤️

This precious mommy was living on the streets with a male dog when 1 Dog Challenge was alerted to their situation. We took Mommy and her babies into Place a Pup, while the male went into foster care.

Sadly, he passed away. We don’t know exactly what happened, but a tick-borne illness was suspected. 💔

Mommy is still with us, and she is such a sweet, gentle soul. She’s due for sterilisation, and we’re hoping her next chapter will be with a family of her own.

Her beautiful puppies are ready for adoption and are expected to grow into small-to-medium dogs. 🐾

If you’re looking for a new family member, please come and meet them. And spare a little time for Mommy—you might just fall in love.
