PLEASE HELP LILY 💕

Lily came to us after her owner passed away, and now she needs our help. We think she’s around 8 years old, and she really is the sweetest girl! A real frosty now.

Before we can start looking for the perfect new home for Lily, we need to get her healthy and make sure she receives all the veterinary care she needs.

We’re asking for donations to help cover:

* Vet care, including vaccinations, tick and flea treatment, deworming, skin oil and treatment for an ear infection
* Good-quality food to help improve her skin
* Sterilisation (after the scan)
* Heart echo (sonar), as we’ve picked up a heart murmur and need to investigate this further

Every donation, no matter how small, will help us give Lily the care she needs and get this sweet older girl ready for her fresh start.

Adoption update!

After so many months of waiting for the right home, our boy Flash travelled to his new home in Natal this week. And it was worth the wait.

A long-standing BTRSA home who has adopted from us before. A home that always waits for the abused, neglected and discarded little souls that no one else wants. A very, very special home.

This was an emotional adoption for us because, at times, we honestly didn’t think Flashy would ever find his home. But he did. ❤️

And with this, we also have to say a very special thank you to Patricia and Andrew for looking after Flash so patiently, working with him and giving him all the time he needed. And for literally driving him from Cape Town twice! We appreciate everything you’ve done for our boy.

Happy adoption, Flashy! Your time finally came. ❤️🐾

Help Needed for Buddy

This morning, we took in an urgent surrender, a little 2-year-old boy called Buddy. He is a small Bostie cross and, right now, he’s very scared and unsure of everything around him.

Buddy is not vaccinated, sterilised or microchipped, so we need to get him to the vet on Monday and make sure he receives everything he needs. We’d also like to get him a bag of food.

Please help us raise the funds to give Buddy the fresh start he deserves. ❤️

Buddy is good with other dogs, cats and children. He just needs a little time to settle and feel safe.
