At Sakhimfundo Youth Program, we continue to invest in collaborative learning spaces that empower young people and facilitators alike.

We recently hosted Impacters Tutorial Classes organisation, focused on strengthening lesson planning and classroom management through a peer-to-peer learning approach.

This session created a platform for participants to:

* Share practical tutoring strategies
* Learn from each other’s real classroom experiences
* Build confidence in delivering structured and impactful lessons

By fostering peer-led development, we are not only improving educational outcomes but also nurturing leadership, accountability, and continuous growth within our community.

At Sakhimfundo, we were truly honoured to have the opportunity to visit MultiChoice with our Grade 7–9 girls. This experience opened their eyes to a world of possibilities beyond what they have traditionally known.

For many of our learners, career dreams have often been limited to a few familiar paths. But this visit showed them that there is so much more out there — from media and broadcasting to technology, storytelling, and innovation. They were inspired, curious, and excited to see what happens behind the scenes and to engage with professionals who are shaping industries.

Moments like these are important. They help our girls to dream bigger, think differently, and realise that their futures are not confined to one path. They can be creators, leaders, innovators, and change-makers.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to MultiChoice for welcoming us and for investing in the future of these young minds.

Our Sakhimfundo Youth Program senior learners (Grades 7–9) had the opportunity to attend the SA Young Men’s Conference hosted by BOMESA. 🙌

The conference created a powerful space for young men to engage in meaningful conversations, learn about leadership, responsibility, and personal growth, and be inspired to make positive choices for their futures.

We are proud of our learners for participating in this important event and for continuing to grow into responsible, confident, and purpose-driven young leaders. 🌱✨
