This high-level Pan-African conference convenes credit rating agencies, regulators, institutional investors, development finance institutions, and sovereign representatives to shape the future of Africa’s credit rating ecosystem. The launch of ACRA marks a critical milestone in establishing a continental platform that advances transparency, credibility, and collaboration across Africa’s financial markets.

In the African context, credibility is ultimately about trust earned through consistency and transparency—not labels or external validation. It means institutions and enterprises can demonstrate what they do, how they do it, and the impact they create using evidence that is contextually relevant. Collaboration is essential because credibility cannot be built in isolation; it emerges when stakeholders align around shared standards, shared data, and shared accountability.
