Yesterday, Bheki Mlangeni District Hospital hosted a powerful Men's Conference, bringing together men and young men for meaningful conversations on men's health, mental health, wellness, and the challenges affecting men today.
The conference featured inspiring speakers who encouraged men to take care of their physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. The day concluded with a powerful time of prayer, as men sought God's wisdom and strength to lead their families and communities.
Together, we are breaking the silence and building stronger men for a stronger society.

Real conversations. Real healing. Real brotherhood.
What a powerful day at the Luthando Foundation Men's Conference at Standard Bank Arena, Ellis Park.
We were privileged to hear from influential speakers who challenged men to confront the issues that are silently affecting our lives.
Dr. Zee delivered a heartfelt message on men's wellness, highlighting that many men are living with emotional, psychological, and other unseen illnesses. His call was clear: healing begins when men are willing to speak, seek help, and support one another.
Representing Qina Jita, our founder shared a message close to our hearts: if we want better men tomorrow, we must raise better boys today. Fathers, mentors, and communities have a responsibility to hold the hands of young boys, guide them, teach them, and walk with them so they grow into men of character, purpose, and faith.
A special thank you to Mr. Thulani Vilakazi and the Luthando Foundation for bringing men together to have these life-changing conversations. This is how we restore families, strengthen communities, and build a generation of healthy, responsible men.
Raise a boy. Save a man. Build a nation.

From Brokenness to Purpose – The Story of Tiko Muziq
Today we celebrate the birthday of a young man many know as JJ, but to the Qina Jita family he is proudly known as Tiko Muziq.
His story is not one of perfection. It is a story of redemption.
There was a time when drugs had become part of his life. Like many young men, it all started with something that seemed harmless peer pressure, the desire to belong, and decisions that slowly led him down a road he never imagined he would travel. Before long, addiction had taken hold, bringing pain not only to him but also to the people who loved him most, especially his mother.
When Tiko shares his testimony, he does not hide his past. He speaks openly about the mistakes he made, the tears he caused, the opportunities he lost, and the shame he carried. He often says that when he looks back at everything his mother endured because of his addiction, his heart is filled with regret.
But regret did not become the end of his story.
He made a decision that changed everything. He chose healing over addiction, purpose over destruction, and hope over hopelessness. He fought for his life, one day at a time, and today he stands as living proof that recovery is possible.
Now, instead of destroying lives, he is helping to rebuild them.
Through Qina Jita, Tiko Muziq has become an advocate for young men battling addiction. His testimony has inspired many to believe that no one is beyond restoration. Every time he shares his journey, someone finds the courage to ask for help, to seek treatment, or to believe that tomorrow can be different.
His purpose does not end there.
He is now tutoring learners in Accounting and Mathematics, investing in the next generation and proving that education can transform lives. He has also embraced his gift of music, writing songs that carry messages of hope, healing, and faith.
Today marks another significant milestone as he releases his EP 2, a heartfelt project dedicated to the memory of his late father. Through every lyric, he honours the man who shaped part of his journey while reminding others that even through loss, purpose can still be born.
His greatest desire today is to make his mother proud. He made a vow that his life would become a testimony instead of a warning, that young boys would see in him not the man who was trapped by addiction, but the man who overcame it through God's grace, determination, and the support of those who never gave up on him.
Tiko Muziq's story is not only his own.
It represents the stories of countless young men who are silently fighting battles with addiction, rejection, and peer pressure. It reminds us that every young man deserves someone who believes in him before he believes in himself.
At Qina Jita, we celebrate not just another birthday, but a life that has been restored, a purpose that has been rediscovered, and a testimony that continues to change lives.
Happy Birthday, Tiko Muziq.
May God continue to strengthen you, enlarge your influence, and use your testimony to rescue many more young men. Your journey reminds us all that our past does not determine our future. Grace does.
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away; behold, the new has come." — 2 Corinthians 5:17
Happy birthday to Tiko Muziq. May this new chapter, together with the release of EP 2, touch many lives and continue to inspire young men to choose hope over addiction.
