Good day all, following on from our get together on Wednesday, herewith the plan….

Hoedspruit Am Dram Christmas Flashmob

The purpose of this is to spread some Christmas cheer while also promoting the Hoedspruit Amateur Dramatic Society

Pick ‘n Pay Car Park area – Saturday 29th November, 11:00 to 12:00

Act 1: Santa wanders through the carpark creating interest and enthusiasm. Joined by various groups of Christmas costumed characters popping out of various shops and vehicles. Leading to front of Pick ‘n Pay where groups of singers do “Santa Claus is coming to Town”

Act 2: Dance number (song to be decided, Winter Wonderland and Jingle Bell Rock are being discussed) choreography by Maureen and Jamie

Act 3: Whole group singing and dancing to “All I want for Christmas is you”

All who want to be involved – please do let us know and rehearsals and planning will be at Southern Cross Schools Resource Centre 16:30 to 17:30 on Tuesday 4th November and Thursday 6th November and no doubt on plenty more days through the coming month.

The time has come, for all those keen to be a part of our Christmas Flashmob, we’ll be meeting on Wednesday evening, the 29th at 17:30 to get things underway. We’ll be looking for singers, dancers and all other dramatic folk as well as some more sensible, technically minded behind the scenes crew.
In the interests of avoiding the distraction of wine, pizza and other shenanigans, and to plot and plan, we’ll be meeting at The Great Outdoors, in the Pick ‘n Pay Centre.
Spread the word and we’ll see you there
