Movement Championing Change NPO RSA was proudly represented by Luvo Matinise at the Kagiso trust x Civil Society Unmuted Coalition South Africa (CSUCSA) Capacity Building Training held in Cape Town. The two-day engagement brought together Civil society organisations to strengthen organizational capacity, share practical development tools, and extend participation within the CSUCSA network. This participation reflects our ongoing commitment to empowering communities, deepening democratic engagement, and building more effective partnerships.

Following the productive ParliMeter training session at Riebeek Valley Hotel, hosted by OUTA in partnership with Civil Society Unmuted Coalition SA, I am pleased to report that the engagement was informative and fruitful. The training enhanced our understanding of parliamentary processes and accountability mechanisms, empowering us to better advocate for transparency and good governance.

We are thrilled to be part of the Pre-SONA 2026 Youth Engagement Programme engaging with Deputy President Paul Mashatile and other stakeholders in Khayelitsha on 10 February. This is a crucial moment to amplify youth voices and shape the future of South Africa. Our organisation, NPO RSA, led by Chairperson Luvo Matinise, is proud to be a movement championing change in our communities, and we see this event as an opportunity to contribute to the conversation.

Through our work, we are committed to driving positive change and empowering young people to take action. The youth roundtable provides a valuable platform for us to share our perspectives and ideas on key issues affecting young people. We appreciate the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) for facilitating this engagement and to the Deputy President for leading the effort to amplify youth voices.

This event is an opportunity for us to collaborate with government and other stakeholders to address the challenges facing our communities and work towards a brighter future for all. We look forward to engaging with the Deputy President and other stakeholders, and to contributing to the development of policies and programmes that benefit young people.

As Chairman of Movement Championing Change, I am delighted to announce that we have reopened our doors after a well-deserved holiday break. We are excited to reconnect with our partners, stakeholders, and the communities we serve, and to hit the ground running in pursuit of our mission to drive positive change.

Over the break, our team has had the opportunity to rest, recharge, and reflect on the incredible work we've accomplished so far. We're proud of the progress we've made, but we're also aware of the challenges that lie ahead. As we embark on this new chapter, we're more committed than ever to our core values of compassion, integrity, and excellence.
