Shamsul Huda Foundation was established in 2020 with the aim of conducting and co-ordinating Islamic activities in the Nkomazi District of Mpumalanga, South Africa, specifically in the fields of education, da'wah and outreach. A pioneer of Islamic activity in the region was Maulana Abu Bakr Siddique رحمه الله from Nelspruit, who had worked tirelessly for many years in establishing Masajid and Isla
mic Centres throughout the region. The subsequent passing away of Maulana Abu Bakr رحمه الله due to Covid complications resulted in a mutual understanding betweenhis family and Shamsul Huda Foundation. In 2020, Shamsul Huda Foundation was then tasked to assist in the administration and management of the 12 Islamic
centres which previously operated under Maulana Abu
Bakr siddique رحمه الله supervision. Shamsul Huda
Foundation gains administrative support from Jamiatul Ulama South Africa.
