We would like to take this moment to thank each and every stakeholder for their contribution to the "half" success of the Oppikaai Heritage Festival 2023.

Everyone - The sponsors, stalls, volunteers, workers and attendees took the time out of their busy schedules to attend. Keeping in mind the catastrophic winds and rain the Western Cape experienced over the weekend - We thank you.

We are busy picking up the pieces, using spit and a little elbow grease to fix what can be fixed, and getting ready for an even more amazing Oppikaai Heritage Festival 2024!

We regret to inform all our supporters that the Oppikaai Heritage Festival 2023 has been cancelled for 24 September due to adverse weather conditions.

We had to make a time sensitive decision in the best interest of the attendees, stakeholders, performers, vendors by cancelling the event for today in the best interest of everyone's safety.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused, but believe that this decision is for the best.

Thank you for ALL your support yesterday, it was great to see the support in numbers, dispite the bad weather. We will see you next year September. Same time, same place!
