THE COLD IS COMING. WILL YOU HELP?

Over the past week,(3-9 August)Empowering Eats served almost 8,000 meals across our kitchens,from Delft to Parkwood to Mitchell’s Plan to New Horizons.

Today, on Women’s Day, we also distributed 160 sanitary packs to women in our communities. ❤️

As the storm and cold weather approach, spare a thought for families who may have nothing to eat or keep warm.

EDUCATION. NOURISHMENT. COMMUNITY.

Over the past 4 days, EduBiz & Empowering Eats visited Glendale and Fairmount Secondary Schools, supporting students through education and meals.

Across our kitchens in Lotus River, Eastridge, Delft, Ottery, Egoli Informal Settlement, Rocklands and Eagle Park, we also distributed almost 4,500 warm meals to our communities. 🙏

With cold and stormy weather hitting Cape Town this week, the need for a warm meal becomes even greater.
