If you were ever a Cub, Scout, Brownie or Girl Guide, you will know how absolutely true this is!

How often are Scouts shown simply as children and young people hiking? 🏕️
But how often do we see the countless volunteer hours behind every trip, meal, activity, and permit?

Scouting is like an iceberg. What’s visible is the adventure, the badges, the scarves, the smiles. What stays hidden is far greater: the dedication of volunteers and Scout leaders, teamwork and collaboration, conflict resolution, planning, training, and a strong educational method.

To the world, we wear our uniforms and enjoy the journey. Beneath the surface lie the skills, values, and commitment that make it all possible. They may not always be seen, but they are always there.
