With 22 years of experience in animal welfare, I am a qualified Senior Inspector and Animal Welfare Assistant, well-versed in animal care, welfare, and the Animals Protection Act 71 of 1962. What wonderful news! Two of our precious babies have gone to their forever home together on a beautiful farm where they will have plenty of space to run, play, and enjoy life.
Seeing them leave for a loving home is always bittersweet, but knowing they will be safe, loved, and cared for makes it all worthwhile.
Wishing these two a lifetime of happiness, adventures, and lots of love in their new home. Thank you to their new family for opening your hearts and giving them the happy ending they deserve and thank you to their foster mom's.

It’s good to be back in the townships – my home away from home. I’m still in moderate pain, but it’s manageable.
Today I was able to do some follow-ups and feeding, and it truly means a lot to be back out there again.
With the colder weather setting in, I also handed out jars of “Hope Soup Mix” to help bring a bit of warmth and comfort where it’s needed most.
We are urgently in need of unused kennels. If you have any that you are no longer using and would like to donate, please get in touch with us.

The dog who arrived skin and bones, emaciated and neglected, with every rib visible and little hope of a brighter future.
Today, thanks to the incredible support of Project Blessing - Animal and Community Care NPC and the dedicated care of Anton, Charlie is a completely different dog. He has gained weight, regained his strength, and most importantly, learned what love and kindness feel like. ❤️
Charlie has come such a long way, but his journey isn't over yet. He is now ready for the one thing he still doesn't have – a forever home.
He is a loving, loyal boy with so much affection to give. After everything he has been through, Charlie deserves a family of his own, and people who will love him for the rest of his life.
