We are thrilled to announce that, thanks to the money raised from our hugely successful 2025 Melodrama shows, the Gansbaai Melodrama Children’s Trust was able to make contributions to three local schools to support children in need. These donations are all about giving back and making a real difference in our community and we’ve just completed the handover of our donations to these incredible schools.

Here’s what your support made possible:
Laerskool Gansbaai – R5 000 cash donation, for school stationery packs
Gansbaai Primêr – R5 000 PEP voucher for new school clothes and stationery
Akedemia Gansbaai – R5 000 PEP voucher for new school clothes, shoes, and stationery

MAAK ‘N KINDERHART BLY

As die ligte aangaan en ‘n saal vol vrolike gesiggies straal helder voor jou, besef jy dis waarvoor al die ure se oefening was en dit maak dit alles die moeite werd.

Die 2025-Melodramagroep oefen reeds sedert Mei aan vanjaar se opvoering, wat in November plaasvind by Panorama Trou Venue. Soos elke ander jaar, word die eerste vertoning spesiaal vir minderbevoorregte kinders in die omgewing aangebied. Hierdie jaar vra die groep weer die publiek se ondersteuning om ‘n kind te borg teen R60. Dit sluit toegang tot die vertoning in, sowel as ‘n hotdog en ‘n koeldrank.

Ons oefen tans een keer per week by die Info Center, en die verhoog is amper gereed vir die groot oomblik!
Die vertoning vind plaas op Vrydag 7 November 2025, met die Gala-aand op Saterdag 8 November 2025 by die Panorama Trou Venue.
