Oasis After School Academy and Childcare is a registered ECD Centre and is a safe facility where your children can go to daily (Mondays to Fridays) to assist with homework, studying of tests and exams, preparation for orals and school tasks. We are situated in a safe area, across from Ficksburg Primary School, which is perfect for when your children need to go to school sports in the afternoons. W
e know and understand that all children learn differently according to their personalities and learning challenges. We do our utmost best to help and guide each child to develop and learn in a way their personalities fit best. Building a foundation to nourish the children's integrated sensory, attentional, cognitive, emotional, and motor capacities which are in fact the driving force behind all other learning. At Oasis we provide learners with academical benefits and non-academical benefits such as promoting self-esteem, motivation, aesthetic awareness, cultural exposure, creativity, improved emotional expression, as well as social harmony and appreciation for diversity. We at Oasis have strict rules to allow every learner to feel safe and secure whilst attending the Oasis. At Oasis we are a team of 10 staff members, owner Vanessa Fouché and her husband Philippe Fouché. There will be a registered nurse on call if any emergency happens to occur. Each day we strive to create a safe, positive, and fun atmosphere not only our Academy kids but also for our Childcare children. Imagination and laughter are the key to success at Oasis!
