General experience of stakeholders about the event
The event that we have hosted on 21 march was spending time with children, talking to them, listening to them, how is the life at home, how are they coping, who help them with homework’s after school , what time do they go to bed. We also provided lunch and donated some sanitary pads to the girls.
The members of the community were very excited about the event that have happened and happy for the children that they have someone to talk to especially those who have no one or their parents don’t afford to buy them their necessities.
Members of the community really loved the programme they were very welcoming, and others bring some snack because the number of attendees were increasing. The kids were free and very open that shows they believed and trusted us with their private lives ana they promised to attend when ever we have life skills programmes.
The experience was amazing the ward councillor promised us that he will request the donations from the municipality to help us to keep the programme running, the local businessman had promised to bring some refreshments to the classes because he believe that the kids mind is working freely when he/she is full, we played games with them.
It was a lot of fun working with the kids that was an amazing experience it made us more egger to help them and we have experience how much they need us, the attention that they got made them feel special some seeing and touching the computer felt like Christmas.
