The 5th Annual Mmadjadji Tournament Postponed
The 5th Annual Mmadjadji Youth Tournament, Ga-Mohokoni, 21-24 December 2022 -The highly anticipated 5th Top 16 knockouts tournament has been postponed. The decision came after we discovered that key stakeholders and sponsors expressed their unavailability during the set date of the event due to professional commitments.
The tournament, initially scheduled for the 21-24 December 2023 in the Mohokoni Big XV Sports Grounds, was set to showcase the skills of 16 teams over four days of intense soccer action. However, the persistent issue of key stakeholders’ unavailability has marred the planning process. We confirm that the tournament will take place during Easter period in 2024 and will continue to be held during the Easter period going forward.
The decision to postpone the 5th Annual Mmadjadji Youth Tournament was not taken lightly, but our primary concern is to ensure a tournament of the highest standard for all football clubs, sponsors, and stakeholders. We understand the disappointment this news brings, but our commitment is to deliver a remarkable tournament. We are actively engaging with sponsors and relevant stakeholders to determine a new date for the event. Once confirmed, the revised date will be promptly communicated, and all teams will be invited to join the competition.
We would like to express our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience caused by the postponement. Our dedication to delivering the highest level of rural football remains unwavering. We continue to explore ways to enhance the overall experience of the tournament for the participants and the Bolobedu community at large.
