Tonight, my heart is with every autism mom, dad, grandparent, family member, and friend walking this journey.

I came across something today that reminded me that while breathing exercises can help us through the moment, nothing truly prepares you for the emotional weight of a meltdown. No matter how many you've experienced, they never become "easy."

Raising a non-verbal child who cannot yet understand or express emotional regulation brings challenges that many never see..

Behind closed doors are tears, exhaustion, overwhelming love, and the quiet strength to keep showing up.

This is the raw reality that so many of us live every single day—and somehow, we still find the courage to make it work.

So tonight, I simply ask: be a little kinder. Offer a little more grace. You never know the battle a caregiver has fought before they walked out their front door.

This journey is beautiful, but it is not for the faint-hearted.
