Conversely, individuals with low rates of literacy and with limited education are often confronted with many social challenges including poverty and homelessness, which are social factors increasing vulnerability to HIV. ince education and literacy often determines access to financial support and medical and information resources, it also affects how people with HIV/AIDS are able to cope on a daily basis. This section explores the links between education/literacy and HIV.
