Tzaneen Branch
After a few very busy days, Cmdr Rome’ Malan from Chaplaincy SA Branch Tzaneen and the ER24 Tzaneen team finally had a chance to catch their breath and enjoy a quiet moment together. In emergency services there is rarely time for photos or simply relaxing, so these moments are truly appreciated.

A special thank you to everyone for the dedication, teamwork, and sacrifices made every day in serving the community. Together we continue to stand strong, support one another, and make a real difference where it matters most.

Yesterday was an historic day in Primrose, all of the Chaplaincy organisations & SAPS was part part of this meeting. Members in Christ Church Primrose hosted the SAPS spiritual crime prevention teams from the various districts around Ekurhuleni.

Welcomed at the meeting was representatives from Primrose, Thokoza, Katlehong, Vosloorus, Ekurhuleni, Alberton and Germiston as well as Primrose CPF

A big thank you to Andre, Jackie, Marco, and Venelle from Chaplaincy SA EMS Support Unit for their quick response and assistance.

Just after midnight, an accident occurred in Visagie Street when a towing vehicle allegedly skipped a red light, collided with a minibus taxi, struck a pedestrian, and crashed into a pole before fleeing the scene.

Thankfully, there were no serious injuries. The taxi driver sustained a forearm fracture and the pedestrian only suffered minor scrapes.

Thank you to the team for your fast action and support on scene. We are grateful everyone is safe.

Chaplaincy SA is also actively involved in children’s projects and youth development programs aimed at making a meaningful difference in the lives of children, schools, and communities.

Through initiatives such as the Anti-Bullying Ambassador Program and Junior Rangers, children are encouraged to become positive leaders, show kindness and respect, and help create safer school environments.

We believe every child matters and has the potential to make a positive impact in their community.

Chaplaincy SA therefore focuses not only on crisis response and support, but also on prevention, mentorship, emotional support, leadership development, and community care for children and youth.

Together, we can help build safer, stronger, and more compassionate communities for the next generation.

Anthony is per ambulans na Pholosong Hospital vervoer vir waarneming. Ons bid vir sy spoedige herstel.

Met groot hartseer het ons die nuus ontvang van die afsterwe van Debbie Labuschagne, geliefde vrou van Cmdr. Louis Labuschagne van Despatch.

Ons harte, gebede en innige meegevoel gaan uit na Cmdr. Louise Labuschagne, sy familie en geliefdes in hierdie ongelooflik moeilike tyd.

Geen woorde kan die pyn en verlies werklik beskryf nie, maar ons bid dat God se liefde, genade en vrede hulle sal dra deur elke oomblik van hartseer.

Debbie sal onthou word vir die liefde en teenwoordigheid wat sy in die lewens van ander gebring het. Mag haar nalatenskap voortleef in die harte van almal wat haar geken het.

With great sadness, we received the news of the passing of Debbie Labuschagne, beloved wife of Cmdr. Louis Labuschagne from Despatch.

Our hearts, prayers, and deepest condolences go out to Cmdr. Louis Labuschagne, his family, and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.

No words can truly describe the pain and loss of losing someone so dearly loved, but we pray that God’s love, grace, and peace will carry them through every moment of sorrow.

Debbie will be remembered for the love, kindness, and presence she brought into the lives of others. May her legacy continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
