Stats SA's poverty trends report shows that one in two South Africans live under the poverty line, amounting to about 32 million people living in poverty. R380 is what the South African government stipulates is the the required amount needed for

each person to meet their monthly energy intake (Statssa 2017) & R1650 for the older person. This amount isn't sufficient for the older person to attain all of his or her needs in live. Isibani Sezwe Community Project seek to enhance community development , improve fairness, freedom without interference with the freedom of others, and the ability of people to meet their basic human needs. Furthermore, this project also aim to empower and educate people with different obstacles that they faces in daily lives.
