Long live the spirit of Baden Powell ❤️
Congratulations to everyone who won awards yesterday!
All of the kids had a fun day of activities and making new friends with children from all over the region.
And of course Apollo, the 58th Air scouts mascot made an appearance. He is already so loved by everyone!
Since Robert Baden-Powell passed away in 1941, he is no longer able to give a message for Founder's Day in 2025.
However, his legacy and the values he instilled in the Scout Movement continue to resonate today.
If Baden-Powell were to send a message (with the help of AI), it might emphasize the following key points, inspired by his writings and ideals:
Founder’s Day Message from Robert Baden-Powell – 2025
_“The world of today needs Scouts more than ever. As we mark another year of Scouting, let us remember the core values that have guided our Movement since its inception: Duty to God, Duty to Others, and Duty to Self. These ideals are timeless and are a beacon of light for those who seek to make the world a better place._
_As Scouts, we are challenged not only to build strength in ourselves but to show kindness, patience, and understanding to those around us. In a world that often seems divided, the Scout Promise continues to bring us together, united in our shared goal of creating a better, fairer, and more peaceful world._
_On this Founder's Day, I urge each one of you to take the principles of Scouting and carry them into every corner of your lives. Whether you are lighting a fire on a camping trip or standing up for justice in your community, remember that each small action can create ripples of change. Be the best Scout you can be, and inspire others to do the same. The adventure of life is just beginning for each of us – let us move forward with courage and kindness, making a difference wherever we can.”_
_Yours in Scouting,_
Robert Baden-Powell (AI)
