📚 LATEST PROGRESS | DAMOROSA SECONDARY SCHOOL 🏫✨

The upgrade to the library and outdoor reading area at Damorosa Secondary School in Chatsworth is progressing very well!

🎨 PAINTWORK COMPLETED
The walls and ceilings have been painted, together with the door frames and window frames.

🔨 FLOORING PREPARATION UNDERWAY
The floors are currently being sanded and prepared before the new tiles are installed.

🪑 FITTINGS & FIXTURES NEXT
Once the flooring is completed, the new fittings and fixtures will arrive and installation will commence.

📚 Latest Progress: Damorosa Secondary School Library Upgrade – Chatsworth 🏫✨

We're excited to share the latest progress on the library upgrade at Damorosa Secondary School in Chatsworth.

🎨 The walls have been prepared and are being painted, giving the library a fresh new look.

🧹 The existing floors have been stripped, and the old floor tiles have been removed in preparation for the installation of new flooring.

🪑 All the old furniture has been removed. During this process, extensive wood borer infestation was discovered in virtually every timber item—damage that was hidden from view. New library furniture is currently being manufactured to provide learners with a safe, modern learning environment.

💡 The next phase of the project includes upgrading the electrical infrastructure. New energy-efficient LED lighting will be installed, together with additional plug points and power skirting to support a dedicated computer research area.

Every stage of this project brings us closer to delivering a modern library that will inspire reading, learning, and digital research for generations of learners.

🏗️ Construction Update: Malibuseng Orphanage, Maseru, Lesotho 🇱🇸

The construction and upgrade programme at Malibuseng Orphanage in Maseru, Lesotho continues to make excellent progress, with significant milestones being achieved across the project.

Latest Progress:

✅ A major water ingress issue on the site has been successfully addressed. The contractor has constructed a diversion channel to redirect water away from the construction area, ensuring a safer and more efficient working environment.
✅ The roof of the first accommodation block has been completely removed and is being replaced with a new roof truss system to provide the correct roof pitch and improve water drainage.
✅ New roof sheeting has been ordered and will be delivered to site for installation.
✅ The new ablution block has been built up to wall plate level, and the roof structure has been ordered for delivery.
✅ The septic tank has been fully constructed and is currently being plastered in preparation for completion.

This project is transforming the orphanage by providing safer accommodation and improved sanitation facilities for the children. Innovative Methology NPC remains committed to delivering sustainable infrastructure that creates lasting change and improves the quality of life for vulnerable communities.

📚 Damorosa Prevocational School Library Upgrade – Chatsworth 🏫✨

We're excited to share the latest progress on the library upgrade at Damorosa Prevocational School in Chatsworth!

🔨 The walls are being prepared for painting to create a bright and welcoming learning environment.
🪟 Window frames are being repaired and prepared, while broken window panes are being replaced.
🎨 The window frames will receive an undercoat followed by a top coat to ensure a high-quality, long-lasting finish.
🧹 The existing flooring is being stripped and removed in preparation for the installation of new flooring.

Construction at Malibuseng Orphanage continues to progress exceptionally well as Innovative Methology NPC advances the upgrade of the children's cottages and the construction of the new ablution facilities.

Latest Project Progress:

✅ Construction of the new ablution block is well underway.
✅ The blockwork has reached wall plate level, with roof construction scheduled to commence next week.
✅ Blockwork for the baby's room has been completed and is ready for the next phase of construction.

✅ The roof of one of the children's living units has been completely removed.
✅ Blockwork is being raised to increase the roof pitch, providing improved drainage and durability for the new roof structure.
✅ Blockwork for the baby's bedroom is currently underway.
✅ New window frames are being built into the structure.
✅ Existing door frames are being replaced with new, stronger frames.
✅ Construction of the new ablution block is progressing well.

🚧 Construction Commenced at Malibuseng Orphanage, Maseru, Lesotho 🏗️

On 1 July 2026, Innovative Methology NPC officially commenced the upgrade of the existing living unit and the construction of new ablution facilities at Malibuseng Orphanage in Maseru, Lesotho.

The project was launched with a ceremonial sod-turning, marking the beginning of a development that will enhance the living conditions, comfort, safety, and dignity of the children who call the orphanage home.

This initiative reflects our commitment to delivering sustainable infrastructure that creates safe, healthy, and nurturing environments for vulnerable children and communities. We are honoured to partner with Malibuseng Orphanage on this meaningful project and look forward to sharing progress updates as construction advances.
