In Loving Memory of Hilton
Today I want to honour a very special man, Hilton, our Marketing Director at Angel Wings.
Hilton was so much more than our marketing guy. He was my friend, my pastor, my go-to guy. A true gem of a man.
He had such a passion and a heart for the elderly. He never just served them β he _knew_ them. He took the time to learn every single name, to sit, to talk, to listen. He made them feel seen and loved.
And the children β oh, how he loved the children. Kids from all walks of life. When society had given up on them, when the world had written them off as useless, Hilton saw the good. He saw potential. He always offered a lending hand and gave hope where there was none.
He was never too busy for anyone. He was truly a servant of God β called to serve, offering hope to everyone who had a need.
Not a day goes by that I donβt think about my friend. I miss him deeply.
I will forever treasure the years we worked side by side. Our days at the Foundation were always busy, and our boardroom meetings were often after midnight on Messenger, when neither of us could sleep.
This past year has been incredibly difficult. Hilton left a huge gap β not only in my life, but in the life of the Foundation, in our Church, and in the lives of the seniors and children he loved so dearly.
Hilton, I thank God daily for your life and for the time I got to spend with you. For learning from you, working with you, and sharing our passion.
My dear friend, our motto remains: ββ When no one else cares, We do!ββ
Your legacy will be kept alive, my friend. The work you loved so dearly continues β just as you taught us β with love, with passion, and with care.
You may be gone, my dear friend, but your memory and legacy lives on.
Rest in Peace, my dear friend.
ββHearts that love, never forget!ββ
Forever missed, never forgotten.
