A small act of kindness can restore more than dignityβ€”it can restore hope. πŸ’—

This Women's Day, The Angel Wings Foundation is collecting essential toiletries for women and girls in our community.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, reminds someone that they are seen, valued, and cared for.

Together, let's fill more than toiletry bags. Let's fill hearts with hope.

πŸ’— Every Smile Tells a Story... Every Donation Gives Hope. πŸ’—

Meet little Ameera.

Behind her beautiful smile is a little girl fighting one of the toughest battles any child could face. Ameera was born with a complex congenital heart condition, and every day she continues to inspire us with her courage, resilience, and determination.

Her journey is far from over. She still requires ongoing specialist care, medication, medical assessments, and treatment. While her family continues to fight alongside her, they cannot do it alone.

Today, we're asking our community to stand with Ameera.

No donation is too small. Every contribution helps provide the medical care and support she needs, while reminding her family that they are not walking this journey alone.

If you are unable to give financially, you can still make a huge difference by: ❀️ Sharing this post. πŸ™ Praying for Ameera and her family. 🀝 Encouraging others to get involved.

Together, we can turn compassion into action and hope into healing.

In Loving Memory of Hilton

Today I want to honour a very special man, Hilton, our Marketing Director at Angel Wings.

Hilton was so much more than our marketing guy. He was my friend, my pastor, my go-to guy. A true gem of a man.

He had such a passion and a heart for the elderly. He never just served them β€” he _knew_ them. He took the time to learn every single name, to sit, to talk, to listen. He made them feel seen and loved.

And the children β€” oh, how he loved the children. Kids from all walks of life. When society had given up on them, when the world had written them off as useless, Hilton saw the good. He saw potential. He always offered a lending hand and gave hope where there was none.

He was never too busy for anyone. He was truly a servant of God β€” called to serve, offering hope to everyone who had a need.

Not a day goes by that I don’t think about my friend. I miss him deeply.

I will forever treasure the years we worked side by side. Our days at the Foundation were always busy, and our boardroom meetings were often after midnight on Messenger, when neither of us could sleep.

This past year has been incredibly difficult. Hilton left a huge gap β€” not only in my life, but in the life of the Foundation, in our Church, and in the lives of the seniors and children he loved so dearly.

Hilton, I thank God daily for your life and for the time I got to spend with you. For learning from you, working with you, and sharing our passion.

My dear friend, our motto remains: β€˜β€™ When no one else cares, We do!’’

Your legacy will be kept alive, my friend. The work you loved so dearly continues β€” just as you taught us β€” with love, with passion, and with care.

You may be gone, my dear friend, but your memory and legacy lives on.

Rest in Peace, my dear friend.
β€˜β€™Hearts that love, never forget!’’

Forever missed, never forgotten.

❀️ A Heart for Ameera ❀️

Sometimes, a smile hides a battle that most of us could never imagine.

Meet Ameera, a beautiful little girl whose courage has touched all of our hearts.

Born on 11 September 2024, everything appeared normal at first. However, during routine clinic visits, it became clear that Ameera wasn't gaining enough weight. What followed was a long journey through multiple hospitals, countless tests, and heartbreaking news.

Ameera was eventually diagnosed with Double Outlet Right Ventricle (DORV) with a Subpulmonary Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD)β€”a rare and complex congenital heart condition that affects the way blood flows through her heart and body.

As her condition progressed, doctors explained that the ideal window for corrective surgery had passed and that surgery was now considered extremely high risk. Today, Ameera lives with reduced oxygen levels, takes daily heart medication, iron and folic acid, and continues to face each day with incredible courage.

But here's what inspires us most...

She still smiles. She still laughs. She still fights.

At The Angel Wings Foundation, we believe that every child deserves every possible opportunity. We are launching A Heart for Ameera to raise funds for a private specialist assessment, giving her family the opportunity to explore every possible treatment option with leading paediatric cardiac specialists.

We are not promising miracles.

We are simply asking for one more chance.

πŸ™ How you can help: ❀️ Donate towards Ameera's specialist consultation and ongoing care. πŸ“² Share this post to help us reach more people. πŸ™ Pray for Ameera, her family, and the medical professionals caring for her.

One share could reach the person who opens a door.

One donation could make the next consultation possible.

One prayer could give a family the strength to keep believing.

Together, we can give Ameera hope.
