🥣💚 MORNING PORRIDGE - FEEDING FUTURES 💚🥣

This morning at Mission Thando South Africa, we made sure no child goes to school on an empty stomach!

Before heading to class, our little ones in our community enjoyed warm porridge at our centre. A full tummy means better concentration, better learning, and a brighter future!

Education starts with nutrition. We are proud to feed their bodies as we nourish their dreams.

👕💚 WE DON'T ONLY FEED HUNGER - WE ALSO CLOTHE OUR COMMUNITY 💚👕

At Mission Thando South Africa, our mission is about dignity. When we receive clothes from our kind supporters, we make sure they reach the families in Avoca Hills who need them most - our gogos, our children, our mothers.

Today we were blessed to share clothes with our community. As you can see, the joy on their faces says it all! 🙏

Dear Golden Delight Family 💛

Greetings from Avoca Hills & Quarry Heights, Durban - this is where Mission Thando South Africa serves from our small container kitchen.

For months, your rice has been the heart of our kitchen. Every month we buy more than 300kgs of Golden Delight Rice with our own limited funds because it is the rice our children and gogos trust - it cooks fluffy, white, and it keeps them full.

As you can see in the photo, this is part of our monthly stock. But the truth is, it is never enough.

From Avoca Hills and Quarry Heights we cook daily for:
🍚 200+ vulnerable children after school
🍚 40 gogos and unemployed mothers
🍚 Families in our informal settlement who have no food at home

We are a registered NPO with no stable funding. We buy Golden Delight because we believe in your brand, but the cost is killing our kitchen.

Golden Delight, we humbly request you to sponsor our community kitchen. Even 10 x 10kg bags a month would keep our pots cooking and our children fed.

We are not just customers - we are your ambassadors in Avoca Hills. Every child we feed knows Golden Delight.

What a blessed day in our kitchen ! Today we served hot, nutritious meals to our precious children.

Every bowl represents love, hope, and the faithfulness of God — and the kindness of people like YOU who make this possible.

Seeing them hold their food up with joy reminds us why we do what we do. No child should go to bed hungry.

Thank you to our amazing volunteers, mamas who cooked, and every donor who supports Mission Thando. You are taking the love of Jesus Christ to the world with us!
