Mossel Bay SPCA - Garden Route GRSPCA is a registered nonprofit and public benefit organisation. Nonprofit organisation (NPO) No. 0 Together, we protect the voiceless.

Founded in 1949, the Garden Route SPCA has grown from a small Mossel Bay branch into one of South Africa’s largest SPCAs, protecting animals from Mossel Bay to Oudtshoorn. We rescue, treat, sterilise, educate, and enforce the law — stepping in where no one else can when animals suffer. It costs over R1.5 million every month to keep this lifesaving work going. Keeping Our Community’s Pets Happy and Healthy

Last Saturday, we opened our SPCA doors to the community for a free Dip and Clip Day!

Along with free nail clipping and dipping, our team provided education on responsible pet ownership and the importance of regular preventative care.

Keeping pets free from external parasites, maintaining their nails and understanding their basic needs all contribute to their health and wellbeing.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and took the time to learn more about caring for their animals.

Bring your dog and visit us for a FREE dip and nail clip!

Everyone is welcome to join us.

We will also have clothing from our Charity Shop available FREE to anyone who brings their dog along for a dip and clip.

Come spend some time with us while we help keep your dog free of parasites, comfortable and cared for.
