Be DA Change Be the change you wish to see in the world! . It starts with you! I (Lerina Strydom) was selected as a DA Young Leader Program for the year 2023.

Together with the program, they require a project from me. The main goal is to make a difference in the community. Curb painting, speed hump painting, grass cutting and clean-up projects and other small jobs associated with this will be done. There will be canvassing and registration of as many voters as possible at the same time. Looking forward to the journey of a lifetime!!

DA surges to win ANC stronghold Ward 28 in Emfuleni!
In yesterday’s by-election, the DA took Ward 28 from the ANC our support grew from 14.21% in 2021 to 32.36%, while the ANC dropped from 50.90% to 32.14%.

This is the DA’s first win in a township ward and shows the growing momentum for real change ahead of the 2026 Local Government Elections.

Congratulations to our newly elected councillor, Maki Tshabalala!
The DA is the party for all South Africans who want jobs, safety and basic services.
