We showed up, and we raced!

A massive congratulations to Soso for being crowned the Eden Duathlon Champion at today’s Eden Duathlon Championships!

A huge congratulations as well to Cuan for an outstanding performance, earning 2nd place in the same race. What a remarkable achievement!

And well done to Caleb, who clinched 3rd place in the Super Sprint event. Your hard work and determination continue to shine. Congratulations, young lion!

From the streets of our township to conquering an African Major, today we celebrate one of our own Bayethe warriors, a true symbol of discipline, resilience and purpose.

Your journey proves that sport is more than medals and finish lines. It is about building character, creating opportunities and giving young people a reason to dream beyond their circumstances.

Through every early morning run, every sacrifice and every kilometre conquered, you have shown our young girls and boys that education and sport can walk hand in hand towards a meaningful future.

You did not only finish your first African Major, you opened the road for many others to believe that they too belong on the world stage 🇿🇦

Two of our youth athletes, Elih Cloete and Caleb Koeries, unfortunately missed the South African Triathlon Championships in Benoni today.

They were involved in a head-on collision outside Kroonstad while en route to the championships.

We visited them today, and we are grateful to report that both boys are safe and back home.

Their bicycles were damaged, but that is the least of our concerns. They will also receive the necessary counselling and support to help them process and move through this difficult experience.
