Love2Work Foundation is a non-profit start-up with a view to giving an online face to unemployed people who provide valuable skills needed in our homes (gardeners, domestic workers, handymen, equestrian grooms etc). Use of our website www.love2work.co.za, is FREE for both job-seekers and employers. As we grow, you will be able to find a selection of possible candidates who work in your area. This
is a new service (launched in April 2016) and we need your help to grow. Go to our www.love2work.co.za to see if you find someone who fits your needs. If you don’t find a member on our database available in your area, promote this site to all your contacts and help get the word out. Help people you know who are looking for work to list their profiles on the site. It’s a win-win for you and for job-seekers. We understand the uncertainty when employing someone new. Who are they? Where do they come from? Are they ‘safe’ to have in our homes? Who can we find who fulfils our specific needs? Traditionally you’ve had few options when it comes to choosing someone to help you in your home or business (be it a domestic worker, gardener, general labourer or handyman):
* You could ask friends and neighbours for a recommendation. But you might be stuck with someone who does not actually deliver on your needs. Wouldn’t it be better if you had a list of people you can contact and check references before employing them? You could choose to stop at the side of the road where dozens of unemployed people sit waiting for someone to offer them work. Wouldn’t it be better, and safer, to have a one-on-one conversation with prospective employees? When it comes to domestic workers, there are various employment agencies who provide placement services, for a fee. Most of them do a great job and also offer value-added services. But they are spread very thin, geographically. Love2Work gives you a list of possible candidates at your fingertips. Why not do a bit of homework and check multiple references yourself? You can verify information
Love2Work does not do background checks on job-seekers and we make no claims as to the honesty of the information they provide. BUT: Various companies offer services to verify ID’s, licences, work permits and more, and we urge you to make use of those services. Find more information on our website, www.love2work.co.za
