Today the Cape Town Lions Club handed over a beautiful garden bench to the Ladies Christian Home in Gardens, Cape Town.
The bench is in their lovely rose garden and forms part of the club's first legacy project.

This is a lasting gift, on the occasion of their 150th birthday, and offers a welcoming seat where the ladies can sit and enjoy the outdoors with friends and family and also have a quiet time for reflection.

The plaque on the bench reads as follows "Wishing every resident moments of quiet reflection and gentle sunshine. We serve ".

Come and join us as we plan our next projects. Call on 076 683 5040.

Once again Cape Town has shown that it is a city full of caring people.

Thank you to our incredible Cape Town community!

Thanks for your generosity during our Blanket Drive at Howard Center. This took place from the 15th to the 18th July, Mandela Day.

A mountain of blankets both new and gently used were collected to keep those less fortunate warm during the cold winter nights.

But.....we are not done yet!

If you missed the drive, you can still help.
Drop off your donation at our collection box at Howard Center.

Thank you for helping us serve our community and spread the warm.

Call us on 076 683 5040 for more information and like our page to stay up to date.
