ARISE AND SHINE – DAUGHTERS OF GRACE | UPDATE & APPEAL 🌸

With hearts full of gratitude, we are overjoyed to share that the girls have received their sanitary pads. What began as a vision has now become a beautiful reality and a testimony of God’s faithfulness. For many of these girls, this is more than just a donation — it is dignity restored, confidence renewed, and hope ignited.

We would like to extend our sincere and heartfelt thanks to everyone who prayed, gave, supported, encouraged, and partnered with us. You have truly helped make a dream come true for these precious girls. May God richly bless you for being vessels of His love.

As we continue this journey, Arise and Shine – Daughters of Grace is now appealing for pre-loved clothes to send to the girls as part of our Love Worn, Love Shared initiative. Your gently used clothing can bring warmth, dignity, and joy, reminding these girls that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved.

📦 Donations Needed:

Pre-loved clothes (girls & teenagers)
Shoes and other essentials

💰 Monetary Donations Needed:

We are also kindly appealing for financial contributions to help cover the transport and logistics costs of sending these clothes to Zimbabwe. Any amount, big or small, will go a long way in helping us reach the girls.

ARISE AND SHINE – DAUGHTERS OF GRACE | VISION 2026

As I reflect as the founder of Arise and Shine – Daughters of Grace, my heart is filled with gratitude for how far God has brought us. What began as a step of obedience has grown into a movement of love, service, and faith.

As we look ahead to 2026, we are trusting God’s vision, not our own. We are excited to continue with our Pad Drive, restoring dignity and hope to young girls, and to expand our Love Worn & Love Shared initiative — where pre-loved clothes become a reminder that someone cares and that God’s love is tangible.

📖 “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.” — Proverbs 16:3

We are growing in the Kingdom of God, walking by faith, trusting that He who started this good work will be faithful to complete it. Thank you to everyone who has prayed, given, supported, and stood with us. Your obedience is changing lives.

Let us continue to arise, to shine, and to be vessels of His love — one girl, one heart, one community at a time.

Hello everyone!

I hope you're all doing well. My name is Natalie Shumba, and I'm the founder of "Arise and Shine – Daughters of Grace." I'm truly excited to be part of this initiative alongside all of you.

I just wanted to send a quick reminder that our "Love Worn, Love Shared" initiative is still going strong! We are collecting pre-loved clothes, lip glosses, bags, sanitary toiletries, and anything that can serve as a lovely Christmas gift for a young girl.

I also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported us so far, whether through donations, prayers, or encouragement. Your grace and support have been invaluable.

As we continue this journey, I want to leave you with a verse from Proverbs 19:17: "Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward them for what they have done."

Let's continue to let God's glory shine through this initiative. Thank you once again, and let's keep spreading the love!

We are profoundly thankful for the outpouring of support for our pad drive initiative, which has been fueled by your prayers, words of encouragement, and generous donations. May your kindness be met with abundant blessings and provision in your times of need. We had initially aimed to support 100 girls, but your overwhelming generosity enabled us to collect 256 pads, 33 roll-on, and 33 bathing soap, significantly surpassing our target.

This remarkable outcome is a testament to the power of collective action and God's unwavering goodness. We have identified several schools in Chivi district, Zimbabwe, and look forward to sharing updates and photos soon, highlighting the tangible impact of your support on the lives of these young girls.

As we continue to build on this momentum, we are excited to launch our LOVE WORN, LOVE SHARED initiative in September, which invites you to donate pre-loved clothes, shoes, bags, bathing soap, and towels. Your contributions have the potential to bring immense joy to young girls, and we invite you to continue being part of this transformative journey.

I would like to extent my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has donated and supported towards the pad drive initiative and those who are still planning to join in ,l warmly invite you because it's never too late to make a difference. Every pad donated helps a girl stay in school and embrace her potential. Together we're not giving pads but we're sharing hope ,love and dignity. Proverbs 19:17 reminds us that if we help the poor we lend to the LORD. Let's continue to shine God's light in these girls lives .
